Assurance by the Crown elders
The Crown elders assure and sign the debenture bond amounting to 2,950 zlotys. The elders authorize Jan Kohl, a merchant of Gdańsk, and anyone else in possession of this assurance to vindicate their rights against any Jew in the Crown, if the sum specified in the document is not paid until September 5th, 1672, along with a bond of 600 zlotys.
